IoT Tech Expo探索边缘AI与物联网的现实融合

2026-01-21   EE Times
Many of us tend to get so deep into the latest technologies, systems, or design tools without necessarily providing real world context. So, it’s always refreshing to understand the impact of the technology we talk about daily, and that’s what shows like the IoT Tech Expo Global 2026, taking place on Feb. 4 and 5, 2026, in London, U.K., aim to do.
The two day-event features multiple co-located conference agenda tracks covering everything from industrial IoT and smart manufacturing to edge computing, digital twins, and IoT security. And of course, no conference would be complete without AI, and there are multiple tracks including an AI developer day track that will explore the product prototype to production lifecycle, as well as other tracks looking at scaling intelligence.
The full agenda featuring over 200 speakers and 150 exhibitors can be found here. We will highlight just a very small selection here.
On day one during the “Industrial IoT: Powering Smart Manufacturing” track, one panel examines real-world deployments of IoT innovations for autonomous factories. Speakers from Analog Devices, BMW, Merck Life Science, and Saint-Gobain provide insights into how AI-driven automation, edge intelligence, and resilient IoT architectures are boosting operational efficiency and reshaping global supply chains.

In a second panel on that track, speakers from AstraZeneca, BMW, Rolls-Royce, and Thermo Fisher Scientific will discuss practical applications enabled by IoT-driven data collection and analytics, such as predictive maintenance and workflow optimization, highlighting how IoT insights reduce downtime, boost efficiency, and drive agility.

On the same day during another track, Justin Barksdale from Spectro Cloud talks about scaling edge AI using a platform approach. Meanwhile, Jim Bruges of Edge Impulse will talk about where the edge market is heading and what industries stand to gain most.
Three concurrent day two tracks look at the future of IoT connectivity, embedded systems in action, and running low power IoT at scale. Nicolas Torralba from Airbus Helicopters outlines how Airbus is overcoming connectivity challenges in modern helicopter operations, and some of the IoT-driven strategies for airborne communications. Straight after him, Simon Ford of Blecon explains why Bluetooth tracking labels are a practical way to collect tracking and condition data using infrastructure-light deployment. And then the agenda moves into the realm of low Earth orbit satellite networks with Susan Agemy of MTN.
In the parallel “Embedded Systems in Action” track, Fiona Treacy of Analog Devices talks about physical intelligence at the edge, and how modern robotics is increasingly shaped by advances in sensing, actuation, and edge‑level control that allow machines to interact safely and effectively with the physical world. She’ll highlight how physically intelligent robotic systems—guided by real‑time feedback, robust connectivity, and adaptive mechanics—are transforming industrial operations with greater precision and resilience.
After her, Nuno Afonso of Philip Morris International talks about debugging embedded IoT devices and systems in real-world environments that his company is involved in—looking at modern tools, remote diagnostics, and effective troubleshooting techniques.
And you can’t have a conference about IoT without talking about security, so the IoT Tech Expo will have multiple speakers exploring cybersecurity in its many levels in the value chain. This includes a talk from Hugh Breslin of Microchip Technology on building ultra-reliable and secure intelligence at the constrained IoT edge.
The full speaker line up can be found here, and on the official website you’ll find the full agendas for all the tracks, plus exhibitor listing.
EE Times is a media parter with the IoT Tech Expo Global 2026 conference and exhibition, so look out for us at the show. It’s taking place at London Olympia, on Feb. 4 and 5, 2026. Complimentary registration can be found here.
